This glossary contains words that are related to my field of study, which is human science.

The state of being detained especially.
Example: Detention is a consequence in which students are required to remain in a presumably undesirable place for a specified amount of time outside of school hours.

Training that plays on heart rate control during progressive intensity effort.
Example: This type of diet is a primary factor in the incidence of CARDIO-vascular disease, which causes the greatest number of deaths here.

A room, typically in a school, in which a class of students is taught.
Example: I stayed in the classroom for 3 hours.

noun
A person who provides instruction or education; a teacher.
Example: Duties of an educator include creating learning modules and materials, developing engaging activities, and facilitating learners' discussions.

The necessary items for a particular purpose.

Evaluation is a process that critically examines a program.

Fitness is the condition of being physically fit and healthy and involves attributes that include, but are not limited to mental acuity, cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, body composition, and flexibility.
